Would you dare listen to its rhymes,
Would you dare speak of it,
And describe it in its unspoiled form.
Would you heed this call, echoing for so long,
Would you let its rays beam, and it’s light undimmed,
So all can have a glimpse of it.
Why do you find it demeaning, when it only speaks of life’s true meaning,
Why ignore reason while everything goes to ruin,
The truth is all I ask, would you dare listen to, or speak of it.
Emmalase.
