Sometimes in life, we get to a point when we feel we no longer need God. We tend to believe only our hard work and struggle brought us to where we are.
With every age comes a new belief, a new form of religion. Ancient teachings, dissected and diluted to conform to the desires of the present age. A time of selective teaching and preaching.
Now many are unsure of the true religion, one that speaks of peace, humility, and virtue, one unspoiled, one Godly. Many are unsure of who are God’s children.
I believe we all are God’s children, both the good and the bad. His intentions for us have always been one that is for good. But if truth be told, some of these children are God’s favorite. Those for whom he is willing to do the unspeakable for their sake. That’s because when you take him personally, so does he.
Some say God doesn’t exist. They propose theories of how everything existing came to be, only for new theories to arise and disprove the already proposed ones. Some things are incomprehensible even for us humans.
Every religion has its own depiction and interpretation of God. But I believe according to St James that “A religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world”.
