As we continue on this journey of life, leading to destinations certain and uncertain, flawing and learning from our mistakes, it’s crucial we all examine the deeds of the previous year, so we better equip ourselves with the proper mindset for this year.
We all have regrets, deeds we wish we can undo, but sometimes can’t. Their shadows will sometimes trail us till our dying day, but that doesn’t mean we should cease to live. One thing the previous year have taught me is that “life will always proceed even on my demise, that no one is so special that the world would halt on their demise.” I say this so that you the reader of this content will understand that redemption is only for the living. And even on the path to redemption, you can only do your best.
Forgiveness is all about letting go of a wrong deed dealt on you, so you can be free. It’s not always easy to forgive, especially when you are compelled to relive the pain. But if you can, not minding how long it takes, try to let go, so you can also be free. Don’t expect too much from anyone, don’t forget they are only human.
Opportunities present themselves in sometimes unusual ways, developing the keen senses for spotting these chances is a way most successful people embraced their success. Your hunger for success is determined by the effort you make, cos sometimes the things we seek and dream of will never present themselves on a platter, they most times require that we exit our bubble and the things that give us comfort, in order to achieve them. You are not the only one undergoing life’s tribulations, so many others are also swimming in this leech infested murky water just like you, so whine less.
Some kings are born, while others are made, understanding yourself and how the forces surrounding you work, is another vital insight of life. Some people achieve their goals in life easily, while some others have to put extra effort to achieve theirs, that’s the disparity of life that sometimes seem unfair. So, if you are not finding opportunities easily, try making one of your own, if you are not born a king, forge a crown of your own. Hardwork always pays, sincerity in labor is always rewarding especially to the patient.
Finally, in this century which we find ourselves, it is obvious that education is vital. It is crucial to inoculate oneself with the empowerment that comes with education, be it Information Technology, Science, Language, Art, or any other form of education. Being knowledgeable in a field of knowledge, projects your peculiarity, and gives you an edge over others, especially if you find yourself in developed societies where education is treasured.
