Miss You

Tonight all was unseeminly quiet,

As though the rooms essence realised your absence and also misses your presence.

So organised and orderly all has been,

Reflecting the depth of bore and indicating the width of dull.

Oh… how I’ve missed your spontaneous persona,

Igniting and charging even the dullest and gloomiest of places.

So adventurous and curious,

Always asking and touching, and sniffing and watching.

So mature, yet so innocently childish.

Cutting through hearts with smiles and gestures enchanting.

With you, perfectly engineered moments spring into being from intentions unplanned and unthought.

I always find the confines of your halo so lovely and lively, so calmly and warmly.

Oh… so empty it has felt lately, with the deafening silence of this void extending further.
