Stay awake, don’t fall asleep lest he finds you.
He comes in your sleep and haunts your dreams. Your worst fears he makes seem real.
But how would you know they’re unreal and untrue while you slumber.
Your nightmares are his home, slithering and slipping, he enters and leaves one dream to the next.
Tall and slender, his members are longer. Grabbing, chasing, scaring and playing all night long, he does.
Run to mummy and daddy, you wish, cos there in your dreams, no one can hear your screams.
So stay awake, don’t fall asleep, lest the Boogeyman comes for you.
Emmalase.
