Christ the King

And the sons of men fell on their knees, in tear and fear,

Wearing ashen clothes on bending knees.

Forsaking crown and throne, they proclaimed as one.

Hosanna to the King of kings the hearts of men sing,

Hosanna to the King of kings the bells of kings ring.

In tongues diverse, speaking words in converse to he that is without end.

They bowed to the Godhead one in three, voicing in unheard tongues to he,

An endless kingship for all to see.

Hosanna to the King of kings the hearts of men sing,

Hosanna to the King of kings the bells of kings ring.

Brighter than the neon light, higher than the mountains height.

The many screamed his name, and revered untamed.

And the rains poured and the heavens roared, singing in one accord.

Hosanna to the King of kings the hearts of men sing,

Hosanna to the King of kings the bells of kings ring.

The sky rumbled in thunder and lightning and all were humbled in wonder and frightening.

And I witnessed as the force was unleashed,

Ingressed it was in the face of all to be reached.

Hosanna to the King of kings the hearts of men sing,

Hosanna to the King of kings the bell of kings ring.

Emmalase.
