Little flower

I wish you well in all your endeavors, sincerely I do. But I’m concerned that you’ll get caught up in life’s insanity, swimming in this sea of sharks, and leaving blood trails behind. Your innocence they will corrupt, your dreams they will devour, turning your hope sour.

My little flower, how can I make you realize that life isn’t always as you think it is. Encased in this cocoon of love, warmth and bliss for so long, you fail to see the shades of grey embedded in life’s colors. Shades I’ve kept well hidden from your gaze.

Now it’s time to let you go, so you can experience life in its truest undiluted form. And so again, I wish you well in all your endeavors, sincerely I do.

Emmalase.
